France 18

We took a short break to France, stopping for a night at Toulouse, before heading on to Montpellier, where we spent some time with Hannah & Cormac.




On recommendation, we stopped briefly to overlook Cirques de Navacelles, heading north from Montpellier and near to Millau. Looking down, it has the appearance of a volcanic crater, in which sits a small town. A brief descent and ascent included some sharp hairpins, which would not have appealed on the Harley, but it was very pretty. After a short stop to view the Millau Bridge from its viewing point, it was on to a villa near Boulens to meet up with Aussie friends Hugh & Tammy in the Lot-et-Garonne area of Aquitaine. Familiar with the area, they were tour guides
