Having inadvertently become the chief nanny and organiser of the annual shooting trip for The Lenches Gun Club over the last few years, arrangements are now in place for 6 of us to take on Vilamoura again in October 2007. Many cartridges will be discharged at even more clays, there will be much analysis of missed targets, with excuses for them being many, albeit articulately and convincingly expressed. But, at the end of the day, 100% of the clays that are missed will have been so because the gun was pointing in the wrong direction! Wine will be drunk and food will be taken, but not necessarily in equal quantities, and the company will be good, as always.Tuesday 27 February 2007
