Tinbeerwah - where? - 50 kms north of Maroochydore (Sunshine Coast) or 150 kms north of Brisbane and inland a bit in the bush, home of Hugh & Tammy, last seen at the Group Reunion in 2008 in Barbados, and what a fantastic place they have now found! Set in 10 acres, the West Wing has recently been added and is where we stayed, looking out over trees and greenery, lush from the copious rain. Kookaburras, cockatoos, loraqueets, magpies, others, and a bush turkey all fly freely, creating great atmosphere with their bird song, well except the turkey that is! Breakfast is on the patio and the outlook is fabulous while doing so. Recharged after that, it was off to Tewantin, then Noosa and the sea, finishing up with a fine lunch overlooking the river. The weather has improved since our arrival yesterday - the sun is shining the rain stopped in the morning - perfect temperatures.
It was St Patrick's Day, so it's was fittting to top off the day with a barbie.
